23.5 Examination Rules
23.5.1 Preliminary Information
a. Students representing themselves for examination must have fully
complied with all University requirements including the payment
of fees. Result for student with outstanding fees will not be
released until full settlement has been done.
b. Students are warned that any breach of examination rules will
result in severe penalties, including the risk of expulsion from the
University, and/or that the Senate may deem the student to have
failed an assessment or examination.
c. All examination rules and regulations shall be applied even though
the examinations are conducted outside the University main
campus or premises.
d. Students must observe the University dress code for entry to the
examination.
23.5.2 Conduct of Examination
All students are required to adhere to the following instructions:
Before the Examination
a. Check the examination timetable and take note of the
examination dates well in advance.
b. Bring valid Student ID Card
c. Bring valid Examination Entrance Slip.
d. Check the examination seat number in the attendance list
uploaded onto e-KLAS.
e. Be present outside the examination venues not later than 15
minutes before the commencement of the examination, unless
specified otherwise by the school.
f. Enter the correct examination room upon the announcement
made by the Chief Invigilator.
g. Occupy a desk according to the seat number allocated in the
attendance list. Upon taking seat, students are required to place
the Student ID Card and Examination Entrance Slip on the top
right hand corner of the desk throughout the examination for
inspection by the Invigilator(s).
h. Students are not encouraged to bring personal valuable
belongings (e.g. laptops etc.). If permissible, any coat, sweater,
