d. International students are also liable to pay the following fees:
i. Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) fees
ii. Personal bond
iii. International student’s administration fees
e. The amount of personal bond varies according to the country of origin.
This personal bond is fully refundable and subject to Refund Policy
(Refer to clause 8.4).
f. Fees listed above are not inclusive of any additional preparatory English
course that international students may have to undertake.
7.5 Procedures for Refund Application
a. Any request for refund must be done in writing by completing the
Refund Form and Withdrawal Form (where applicable).
b. Completed form must be submitted to the Bursar Office (Accounts
Department) on or before 30th of each month. Forms received after
30th shall be processed in the following month.
c. Refunds will only be given once all relevant documents are completed
and subject to the procedures and conditions determined by the
University.
d. The process of refund payment to students shall take a minimum of 21
days from the date where a complete refund form is received by the
Bursar Office (Accounts Department).
e. Fees will not be refundable when a student is required to leave the
programme or University due to any of the following reasons:
i. Providing false information or intentionally omit relevant
information when applying for the programme at the University
ii. Involve in any disciplinary or criminal offences
8. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Financial Assistance is only applicable to eligible local students who are pursuing
their studies at the University.
8.1 Study loans
a. Financial assistance in the form of study loans may be obtained from any
of the following bodies:
i. Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)
ii. Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)
