            11.  UNIVERSITY’S FACILITIES

                11.1  Recreational facilities
                      The  University  provides  various  recreational  facilities  for  students  in  the
                      campus.  Many  other  recreational  facilities  are  also  available  nearby  the
                      campus.  Students are required to comply with rules and regulations imposed
                      by the University and the management of the facilities when using them.

                11.2  Rooms and Halls
                      a.   Rooms  and  halls  are  available  for  students’  daily  and  co-curricular
                           activities. Booking or reservation of the rooms and halls may be done at
                           the Academic & Student Development (SCD) department by filling up a
                           form provided. The application form must be submitted at least fourteen
                           days  (14)  days  prior  to  the  date  of  usage.  Approval  is  subject  to  the
                           purpose or usage of the open spaces and halls.
                      b.   IMS Bangalore has a library and an information centre. IMS also provides
                           students with a cultural room (fully functional with music instrument).
                           Apart from the above mentioned facilities, the campus also has (which
                           require the Associate Dean’s permission);
                             i.   Basketball court
                            ii.   Indoor table tennis court
                            iii.   Tennis court
                            iv.   Indoor badminton court
                            v.   Football ground
                      c.   Fitness centre is available in the campus.
                      d.   All banking transaction at IMS (Bangalore campus) is performed through
                           bank  in  India.  Students  are  expected  to  perform  banking  transactions
                           through bank in India. This include:
                             i.   Transfer of scholarships
                            ii.   Student hostel rental payment
                            iii.   Other banking transactions

                11.3  Knowledge Learning Management System (eKLAS)
                      a.   What is eKLAS?
                           The University’s Knowledge & Learning Management System (eKLAS) is a
                           computerised  system  which  acts  as  a  collaborative  platform  that
                           facilitates  the  University’s  administration,  e-learning  and  students
